Charge Controllers
A solar charge controller (or solar regulator) is a device which limits the rate at which electric current is added to or drawn from deep cycle leisure batteries in a solar electric system. It prevents overcharging which can reduce battery performance or lifespan, and may even pose a safety risk. It also prevents completely draining ("deep discharging") of a battery which can also reduce battery lifespan. QRS supply a large variety of charge controllers from Phocos and Atersa which are manufactured to the highest ISO9001 standards and comply with CE mark.
